A request for help, part 2

About a month ago, I posted an appeal for help because my friend Karen’s young daughter, Allie, was running a high fever and needed medical attention that Karen could not afford. Thanks to the generosity of many of you, Allie was able to get the care she needed and return home.

Unfortunately, Allie is once again running a fever and has had to be hospitalized again. Needless to say, Karen still does not have the money for this. Karen is suffering from some serious health problems herself, and it is extremely taxing to have to deal with this on top of her own problems. I’ve been trying to help Karen’s health and finances stabilized to the point where she can work, but it’s just been one crisis after another for close to two years now.
